Based on the popular TV show, in the GPC amazing race you will compete with other groups to follow clues, complete challenges and race in cars across Goondiwindi. Safely, while obeying all road rules and speed limits…
Gather a carload of your friends, family, work colleagues, strangers on the street, or whoever you want. Your carload will be competing against the other groups who register. At the start of the event, you will be given an envelope that will send you on a trail of clues, riddles and challenges navigating across Goondiwindi. The first carload to complete all challenges and arrive at the final destination wins!
There is also a simpler version that follows the same route if your carload is primary age children. In this case, any adults are the drivers and the kids do the puzzles and challenges.
The event starts at 12:30pm with a free lunch at the Goondiwindi Presbyterian church (29 Herbert Street). The first clues will be given out at 1:30pm.
